Two components, two licenses. Here is what each one means in plain terms — facts, not legal advice.
Takuto Core — FSL-1.1-ALv2
The core engine is source-available under the Functional Source License 1.1 (FSL-1.1-ALv2). Using it for your own non-competing purposes — internal use, evaluation, research, professional services — is free. It is not OSI "open source", but each version automatically converts to Apache-2.0 two years after its release. What you may not do is use it to offer a competing product or hosted service.
Takuto CLI — MIT
The companion CLI that generates config, runs auth flows, and orchestrates Compose is licensed under MIT — permissive and simple to adopt.
